The Sherwood

Inspire, Learn, Grow

A message to our Sherwood Community

Dear Children, Parents and Carers,

I hope that you are all well and are enjoying the summer holidays. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to school soon and are busy making sure that everything is ready for you.

Hopefully you have managed to complete some of the learning tasks set by your teachers over the summer and have been reading lots of fantastic books and stories.

When you return in September, your classes and routines will be a little different to normal. This is to keep everyone as safe as we can and we know that you will all do your best to follow our new procedures. We have completed a risk assessment to identify the safety measures we must put in place to protect the safety of children, staff and parents and carers.  Please contact the office if you would like a copy of our risk assessment.

Please read the letter and booklet below which explains what to expect when you return to school including important information about drop off and pick up times, school routines and how we will be learning in class.

In the meantime, do take care of yourselves and your families and I look forward to seeing you back at school on Friday 4th September.

Best Wishes,

Mrs Samouel heartsmiley
