We are really excited to be able to offer a variety of holiday activities this summer. We have our (always popular) cycling courses which are free for everyone. We are also running Dance & Music 4-day camps for those who receive HAF vouchers.

 All sessions will be during the second week of the Summer holidays, w/c Monday 27th July.

Cycling courses – Learn to Ride and Bikeability

Using the free bicycles and helmets that the Sherwood has onsite, children will be able to come and learn how to ride a bike with Cycling Instructor Ltd. There are also Bikeability Level 1 sessions for children who can already ride a bike to learn road safety skills.

• If your child cannot cycle, book them on Learn to Ride (LTR)

28^th July 10am – 11.30am & 29^th July 10am – 11.30am

• If your child can cycle but not with one hand, book them on Bikeability Level 1

28^th July 12.30pm – 4pm & 29^th July 12.30pm – 2pm

At the moment there are 10 spaces per course. If these get booked up, more sessions will be added.

HAF camps (Monday 27th July - Thursday 30th July, 10am - 2pm)

 Dance: This week will consist of dance styles such as Street Dance, Contemporary and Musical Theatre as well as fun activities. The week isn't just about dance; it's about growing in confidence, expressing yourself in a positive environment, making new friends and most importantly - having fun! 

Beatboxing and Drumming: Come for a week of music at the Sherwood School. Your child will have morning and afternoon sessions of beatboxing and drumming. These sessions will be delivered by specialist tutors from The Jack Lonergan Foundation with a focus on using the voice as an instrument and learning to play some familiar beats. No experience is needed and all equipment will be provided. 

How to book HAF: Parents of children who are entitled to HAF vouchers will be emailed from 'hello@holidayactivities.com' with a link on 30th June. Through this link you will be able to choose one of our HAF schemes through the HolidayActivities website. Search through the list of providers to find the activity you would like, e.g., “Dance @ The Sherwood School” or “Music @ The Sherwood School”. Then follow the booking instructions.
