In Reception we focus of 7 areas of learning;

·         Personal, social and emotional

·         Physical Development

·         Literacy

·         Maths

·         Understanding the World

·         Expressive Arts and Design

Every day the children participate in Phonics and Maths activities. During the week they also complete guided reading, writing and topic activities.  The children also enjoy lots of physical and creative experiences including PE and Drama with specialist teachers, as well as music and art which are built into their daily curriculum. Our aim is that the children can access a wealth of learning opportunities through a rich and varied environment. Please see the document below for an overview.
