Philosophy For Children

We are delighted to share with you the exciting news that we have achieved the Silver award for Philosophy for Children (P4C) on our Going for Gold journey! P4C is immersed within our curriculum and encourages the whole school community to ask questions and think really hard about important things in life.

In P4C sessions, children ask questions, take turns to share ideas, express opinions, hear other points of view, and justify what they think. They are encouraged and learn to develop excellent listening skills, concentrate on following a line of argument, and choose words carefully to explain their thinking.
